Quique is a pediatrician with special interest in infectious disease epidemiology and public health. He is the Director General of the Barcelona Institute of Global Health and an ICREA Research Professor.

Quique has been an active collaborator in Future Child Health for several years and continues to assist in publishing primary research within the group.
