Ndola is a public health physician and medical demographer, the Fred H. Bixby Endowed Chair in Population and Family Planning, and a Professor of Maternal and Child Health.

Ndola has been an active collaborator in Future Child Health for several years and continues to assist in publishing primary research within the group.
